Baritone Bass Guitar

What's the difference between a baritone guitar and a standard guitar?
The only difference I've heard is that the baritone has thicker strings, but still thinner than a bass. But what about the feel, if any of you have played both the standard guitar and the baritone guitar (maybe even the bass) then how would you describe the feel of 'em and which do you prefer?
You're right about a baritone going in-between guitar and bass.
They are slightly longer than a regular guitar (usually about 27" or so) and are usually tuned a 4th lower. Baritones haven't been that popular since the 7 string gained ground. If you think about it, a baritone guitar is pretty much a 7 string without the high E.
It's still not a bass though, so it's not like playing a bass. Other than the lowest string, all the other strings are the same ones you would normally use on a regular guitar.
